BCP（事業継続計画） Business Continuity Plan

近年、地球規模で自然災害が増えたと言われます。

原因としては地球温暖化による気象条件の変化や、地方における人口減少や高齢化などの影響で平時の備えが手薄になったことなどが上げられます。
そのため企業は、BCP（事業継続計画） の策定と実施体制の強化が求められ、その実行力によって取引先としての資質を選別される時代になっています。
このことは海外企業との取引の中でも、とても重要視される要因となっています。

中川絹糸では2020年経済産業省・近畿経済産業局で、「事業継続力強化計画」の認定を受けました。

特に一級河川「姉川」の横で事業を営む関係で、水災にはとても敏感に対応しています。
先般の大雨では河川水位が一気に上昇し、警戒水位を一気に突破し、行政からも「避難指示」が発令されました。
中川絹糸では直ちに「全社員の退避」を決定し、15分以内での会社からの退避を実行しました。
幸い、河川は氾濫もなく被害は何も発生しなかったのですが、生産はストップし納期など心配される要因もあります。

しかし、一番大切なのは社員の大切な命です。

もし、被害が発生し社員危険が及ぶことがあったりしたり、また「避難指示」が出ているにもかかわらず社員が帰宅しない事態があった場合、社員の家族はとても心配されると思います。

また、社員が家庭や地域に帰ることで、家庭を守ろことができ、地域の役員やボランティア活動で少しでも被害が低減できる役に立つことが出来るかもしれません。

そう言った取り組みでリスクを無くしていくことが、「事業継続力強化」の一番のポイントと考えます。

近隣の会社はこのような事態でも平時と変わらない操業を続けておられました。
各社考えは様々で取り巻く環境も違うので、一概には言えませんが、少なくとも中川絹糸はこの姿勢を必ず守っていきたいと、社員の皆さんにもあらためて伝えました。
また、経営者だけの判断では間違った方向性に進むこともあり得ない話ではありません。
そのために常日頃から「みんなが一緒に考える・実行する」をスローガンに、リスクの洗い出しと解決に取り組んでいきたいと考えます。

中川絹糸の活動は社会においてはほんのささやかなものでしか無いでしょう。

でも、私達がやれることをやる中で、社会にそんな考え方が広まっていく可能性もあります。

私達は事業活動だけではなく、その存在や活動が少しでも社会に役立つ存在でいたいと願っています。

In recent years, it is said that natural disasters have increased on a global scale.

 
The causes include changes in weather conditions due to global warming, and insufficient　preparations during normal times due to the effects of population decline and aging in rural areas. Therefore, companies are required to formulate a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) and strengthen the implementation system, and we are in an era where the quality of a business partner is selected based on the ability to execute it. This is a very important factor when dealing with foreign companies.

In 2020, Nakagawa Silk was certified as a "Business Continuity Strengthening Plan" by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

In particular, we are very sensitive to flood disasters, as we run a business next to the Ane River, a first-class river. Due to the recent heavy rain, the river water level rose at once, breaking through the warning water level at once, and the government issued an "evacuation order".

Nakagawa Silk immediately decided to evacuate all employees, and evacuated from the company within 15 minutes. Fortunately, the river did not overflow and no damage occurred, but there are factors to worry about, such as the stoppage of production and the delivery date. 

However, the most important thing is the precious lives of our employees. 

If damage were to occur and employees could be in danger, or if employees did not return home despite the fact that "evacuation orders" had been issued, I think the employees' families would be very worried. 

In addition, by returning employees to their homes and communities, they may be able to protect their homes, and local officers and volunteers may be able to help reduce damage as much as possible.

I believe that eliminating such risks is the most important point in "strengthening business continuity." 

Neighboring companies continued to operate as normal even in this situation.
Each company has different ideas and the surrounding environment is different, so I can't generalize, but at least I told all the employees that I would like to keep this attitude. 

In addition, it is not impossible that decisions made by management alone may lead to the wrong direction. 

To that end, we will always work to identify and resolve risks under the slogan of "Think and act together".

The activity of Nakagawa silk is probably only a small thing in society.

However, there is a possibility that such a way of thinking will spread in society while doing what we can do.

We hope that not only our business activities but also our presence and activities will be of some help to society.
