中川絹糸における企業の社会的責任（CSR）の基礎を成すのは、
「事業を展開する地域の人々、環境、コミュニティーに良い影響をもたらす」という理念です。
中川絹糸では社員と協力し、幅広い分野において社会的責任を果たすための新たな方法を積極的に模索するとともに、「気候変動」、「廃棄物の削減」、「公正な提携業者」、「動物愛護」、「地域社会への貢献」、「健康で豊かな生活」という6つの課題に向けた取り組みを行っています。
